Passionate about providing a real and transparent service, we’ve always done exactly what we put on the tin (or in our case, bottle!) Driven by our desire to create honest, flavoursome spirits that anyone can enjoy, our thoughts have only ever been about delivering the best possible experience to our customers.
First opening the Distillery’s doors back in May 2021 for our Gin School and Tour Experiences was one of the best decisions we could have made for our business. It was our first opportunity to really show off our Distillery but also to have face-to-face interaction with our customers. It’s allowed people to see the reality of what we offer and really appreciate the love, thought and hard work that goes into our spirits.
So, of course we didn’t stop there! Now offering three different types of experience, we’ve got something to offer for varying purposes and personalities…
Gin Tasting, Tour & Talk
Who is it designed for?
Aimed at fellow gin enthusiasts and those interested in finding out more about the Distillery, our Gin Tasting Tour & Talk is a real insight into our story.
Whether you’re curious about what led us to open our business, the work that really goes into it or just want to see what a working Distillery actually looks like, this is definitely the experience for you.
What to expect:
With a welcome drink waiting for you on your arrival, the experience certainly starts off on the right foot! Savour your spirit over a meet and greet with distiller and day-to-day runner, Emma.
You’ll then be taken on a trip straight down memory lane with an insight into the history of gin and The Shropshire Distillery story. Find out all about the Gin Shed, where our business first started, our re-branding and newest spirits and everything that happened in between!
Next is a tour of the Distillery where you’ll get a proper good look at a real local Distillery and see where all of our creations are made and thought up! Followed by a Q&A session, you’ll have the opportunity to ask any budding questions you may have about our business or the products we have on offer.
Lastly (but by no means least!) everyone will get to enjoy not one, not two but four different signature serve G&T’s from The Shropshire Gin Collection.

Gin School Experience
Who is it designed for?
Perfect for a budding Distiller or just someone happy to disappear into the world of botanicals for a few hours, our Gin School Experience lets you design and distil your very own gin to bottle, label, taste and take home!
What to expect:
Our students for the day will start off with a true distiller’s welcome, a drink and meet and greet with our full-time distiller, Emma. You’ll then be shown your very own work station, equipped with a mini copper still for the creations you’ll come up with later.
Don’t worry you wont be thrown into the deep end, first you’ll have a botanical talk and introduction followed by guidance and tutoring from Emma, we’ll give you everything you need to handcraft your own delicious 70cl gin to take home.
Bu the fun doesn’t stop there! As a distiller for the day, you’ll then get to enjoy four different signature G&T’s from The Shropshire Gin Collection topped off with a G&T made with your own gin! You’ll then have the opportunity to sample expressions of available Shropshire Distillery Limited Edition releases with the option to keep your brand new recipe on file for re-ordering at a later date.

Cocktail Masterclass
Who is it designed for?
Ideal for cocktail connoisseurs, those looking to impress with their cocktail making skills and groups looking for a fun alcohol-themed experience, our Cocktail Masterclass is just what the doctor ordered.
What to expect:
Be prepared to kick off the experience with a delicious welcome drink and a talk on all things cocktails. Whether you’re a beginner wanting to learn the basics of mixology, or looking to brush up on existing skills, the agenda will be one thing: delicious mixes.
You’ll then be introduced to your very own work station, filled with everything you could possibly need to create fun and flavoursome combinations! A full demonstration will then follow, with interactive guidance and tutoring as you go to guarantee success in three different cocktails!
But that’s not all, with three delicious cocktails now waiting, you’ll then have the opportunity to enjoy each and every one. With our exclusive on the day 10% discount, you’ll then have the opportunity to purchase our award-winning spirits to host your very own cocktail party at home!
