Mother’s Day, a time we celebrate a very special day, a day we spend honouring the Super Woman in our lives. A day we show appreciation and thanks to those special to us. A day to enjoy together, with our families

There’s no denying that being a mum, in whatever form that maybe; step mum, dad, grandmother, mother in law, foster mum, adoptive mum, it definitely has it's share of ups and downs. Afterall, it is the hardest but most rewarding job in the world. One I know as a Mum, I wouldn’t change for the world.

Here at The Shropshire Distillery, we have honoured our mums and grandmothers with christening our Copper stills with their names; Eileen, Jean, Anne, Sandra, Jennifer and a reserved place for Joy.

This Mother’s Day, we are counting our blessings and raising a Shropshire Gin to our loved ones still with us and those that are gone.
 
Why not try our Cherry & Pink Peppercorn Gin in a French 75 this Mother’s Day?
 
- 50ml Cherry and Pink peppercorn Gin
- 1tbsp Lemon Juice
- 1 tsp sugar syrup
- Chilled sparkling wine / Prosecco
 
- Pour the lemon juice, sugar syrup and gin into a cocktail shaker then fill up with ice. Shake well then strain into a champagne flute. Top with a little sparkling wine, leave to settle (as it will bubble up) then fill up with more sparkling wine. Garnish with a lemon twist.

We also recommend you try our AFTER NOON Expresso Martini this Mother’s Day.
 
Simply add; 2 parts coffee liqueur to 1 part water,  in a shaker, add plenty of ice, shake vigorously and serve .
 Or for more indulgence… how about Affogato….
 
Take your favourite Vanilla ice cream, pour over 50ml AFTER NOON Cold Brew Coffee Liqueur, serve with a spoon.
