Cocktail Time – Part 1
Here we have worked with Annabel aka @theginjudge to create these fabulous cocktail serves – all of which use our gins as the base with extra flavours that compliment without overpowering each of the flavours.
Shire on Fire
- 50ml Shire Gin or 25ml Navy Strength Gin
- 25ml Orange Juice
- 25ml Lemon Juice
- 25ml Rose & Ginger Syrup*
*steep dried rose petals and juniper berries in boiling water. Allow to cool. Add to a saucepan with sugar. Bring to the boil and strain into bottle.
Method:
Hard shake all the ingredients and strain into a Nick and Nora glass
Classic Shire Martini
- 50ml Shire Gin or Shire Navy Strength
- 20ml Vermouth
Method:
Stir all the ingredients with ice in a mixing glass, strain into a chilled martini glass. Garnish with a lemon twist
French 75
- 50cl Shire cherry Gin
- 1tbsp Lemon juice
- 1tsp Sugar syrup
- Chilled sparkling wine
Method:
Pour the lemon juice, sugar syrup and gin into a cocktail shaker then fill up with ice.
Shake well then strain into a champagne flute. Top with a little sparkling wine, leave to settle (as it will bubble up) then fill up with more sparkling wine. Garnish with a lemon twist
